I think that the majority of children would be interested in ‘growing butterflies’ and I believe that many adults would probably be interested as well. (At this point, I just have to throw my hands up without any more thought). A butterfly kit will make it easy to experience the fun of raising butterflies either at school or at home. In one small container you can raise a handful of butterflies, without being a biologist. No special equipment is required. It’s very simple, because the only thing you need to provide is the sugar!

Let us have a look at all what a butterfly kit comprises of.

There are a number of suppliers out there who provide butterfly kits, but in general, they are almost identical in what they provide:

    A Housing of some sort
    Feeder
    Caterpillars
    Pot of food
    Instructions

There are slight differences in housing depending on the manufacturer. Some kits are clear and a plastic container and sometimes the kit to hold the butterflies is made out of some kind of mesh. It doesn’t really matter how it is built. Every one gives people a way to safely handle the young butterflies and clearly see the transformation take place.

Every manufacturer has their own distinct version of a feeder. A dropper, pipette, or perhaps a cotton bud may be needed to hold the liquid. Remember that it is not crucial information, and the details that were provided are sufficient.

Generally, the butterfly kits do not include the caterpillars. A coupon is often used as a basic way to assure that you can obtain your caterpillars. The importance of this is to make sure you are ready for the caterpillars and know how to care for them. It will not work if you receive the caterpillars and don’t utilize them until weeks later. Thus you may make arrangements in advance and be certain to have sufficient time prior to placing your order. A lot of suppliers allow you to choose the dates in which the caterpillars are to be sent.

The only required provision for the caterpillar is a pot of food. In fact, almost anything can be harmful to the health of your livestock, so take care.

To ensure that you’ll know what needs to be done at what time, each butterfly kit comes with complete instructions.

When you purchase a butterfly kit you will recieve the following.

Using the kit, everyone will enjoy observing the metamorphoses from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly in the span of just 3 to 5 weeks. It is an amazing trip for many children (Are Butterfly Kits a good idea? Most kids and adults say, yes! It’s fun, educational, and not a great deal of work or complicated steps) will have a good time and not forget. As a matter of fact one can repeat the process to number of times as required during the normal breeding season for the butterflies that normally lasts from March to September. The most supplied butterfly is the Painted Lady.

It’s not necessary to buy a new butterfly kit each time because they are reusable. Raising butterflies can be economical because the housing is re-usable, the only thing you would need to reorder are the caterpillars. Keep in mind that you should release the butterflies after watching them for a few days. If you have plants that butterflies like to visit, they will often stay for several days at a time. There is no problem ecologically with the release of these butterflies in your area, they are quite common and have no negative environmental impact.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a garden or if you live in an area that’s not flat. Some butterfly species are capable of traveling hundreds of miles in search of food.

In conclusion, you will understand butterfly kits and how they are used. I’m sure you will get as much enjoyment from it as I did.

    Hi

to all the fishermen or anglers out there which ever you prefer to be called. I just wanted to let you know about a site a very good aquaintance of mine emailed me .We are both keen fishermen .I fish for predators mainly and he tends to fish for mirror carp.I will not go to some man made puddle and pull out 27 pounders but he loves too but wont hold that against him.

Anyway I could not get enough of Matt Hayes pike video as you would imagine and thought it was a great start for a newcomer into how to start fishing for pike or will I say essox and a beauty he caught too.He also explains how to remove the hooks out of this beast of a pike without causing any injury to the pike or to you yourself.

Being considerate I figured just out of common courtesy to my friend I would have a chuckle and have a look at the species they call a carp.I would never really have taken any notice of it as it does not swim in any rivers near me. Well I believe I might have just found the species of fish I will be going after during the hotter months to find out why watch this Matt Hayes Fishing for Carp video

Right enough of fishing my oldest son does TKD and his instructor has a site so if anyone out there is interested in learning a martial art well this might be the one for you Pal jung do poomsae Taekwondo .He is a black belt and has won medals in the UK and Switzerland so the training must be pretty good

We spent a week in Colorado the beginning of June. My family has had a cabin in Estes Park since 1932. My Dad’s father built it by hand when my Dad was just a couple of years old. This is on the east slope of the Rockies. There are trees starting to die on that side.

The real surprise was when we drove to the western slope. Entire square miles of forest are dead and brown. The pines have been killed by the Pine Beetle. The Pine Beetle is the most destructive forest pest in North America. The Canadian Forest Service describes the current pine beetle epidemic as the largest insect infestation in North American history.

Mountain Pine Beetles have a one year life cycle. In late summer (usually July-Aug in Rocky Mountain States) the newly hatched adults leave the tree of their metomorphosis, seeking out larger trees (usually over 13″ diameter if possible) in the surrounding area. (In areas with heavy infestation, beetle hatchlings may take even smaller trees as pressure to get ANY tree increases). When the adults arrive, they begin tunneling under the bark, lay eggs, which turn to larvae and live through the winter to produce more egg-laying adults to attack more trees. Colorado State University thinks that one infested tree will kill at least two or more trees. Thus the massive expansion occurs.

Beetles and other insects communicate using pheromones. Verbenone – a synthetic pheromone treatment for high value pine trees – replicates the beetle pheromone, sending a message that the tree is full and that the food supply is insufficient for additional beetles. Arriving beetles receive the ‘message’ that they should look elsewhere for a suitable host. The easiest way to keep track of what is happening with your trees is with a properly placed nanny cam. Most cabins are not occupied throughout the entire year. But they are worth watching.

Let’s face it, most men don’t cook. And if a man does cook, it’s such a remarkable phenomenon that he’ll probably go on to make a career out of it. But while the kitchen is still the preserve of women (in these barbaric times), the barbeque is the territory of men.

Think about it. That means people who are not used to cooking are in charge of barbequing. No wonder many people are being encouraged to take a course at the local barbeque cooking school.

There are three things to bear in mind if you want to hold safe barbeque parties this summer - and a good barbeque cooking school will certainly cover the first two. Here they are:

    1. Hygiene is more than just a tricky word thrown in to fox the competition at a spelling bee. It means washing hands, keeping raw and cooked food separate and using different cutting boards for meat and vegetables (surprisingly, vegetables transmit more bacteria to meat than the other way round). Any good course at a barbeque cooking school will turn you into a hygiene evangelist.

    2. Make sure the meat is cooked through. This applies to poultry and pork in particular, both of which can carry salmonella. Enroll at a barbeque cooking school, and you’ll learn that black on the outside doesn’t mean cooked on the inside. And more importantly, you’ll learn how to make sure your meat is always cooked on the inside. There’s nothing more embarrassing than guests collapsing on your patio during your summer party.

    3. Or is there…? Collapsing at your own summer party could take the biscuit when it comes to embarrassment. So it’s probably not a great idea to crack open that second Chianti until you’ve finished the cooking. Drunken barbequing can be just as lethal as drunken driving. But don’t count on learning about it at a barbeque cooking school. Some things are down to us, it seems.

    Cheers.

So, there you have it. Your newly created website is ready and now you are eager to get some traffic to it. The more the merrier. Especially if the website is meant to make you some money through sales or advertising programs. In that situation more relevant, targeted traffic means almost automatically more money. But how do you get high volumes of traffic to your newly created website?

It is very likely not even indexed by one of the major search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN. And not being indexed means that nobody can find your piece of virtual real estate on the Internet. One of the greatest challenges which people starting a new blog or website face is that of getting relevant, targeted traffic to their website. In this article we will outline five critical important steps you must follow to start generating some serious traffic to your website.

    1. Content is king. You have probably read this phrase more then once on the Internet. Let me rephrase it: Unique content is king. That is what you should have on your website. The search engine robots spider all websites on a regular basis. They are always on the lookout for websites with fresh, new and high quality content. So it is really important for you to have not only new content but this content also has to be of high quality. After all, you want your human visistors to return to your site again and again. This will get your site very fast indexed by search engines.

    2. You should have all the relevant keywords and phrases related to the subject of your website on the pages of your website. It is also important to group relevant keywords together. For example: if you have a topic which contains a few hundred keywords you should divide those keywords into relevant subgroups and use those subgroups to write articles for your website pages. For instance, if your site is about “aquarium maintenance” you will have different pages about “aquarium maintenance”, “fresh water aquarium maintenance”, “salt water aquarium maintenance’ and so on. This is called “theming” of your site. It wil even make your site rank better in the search engines.

    3. Submit your website or blog to search engines. This is a very important step in getting more traffic. There are hundreds of search engines on the Internet, but for submitting only three count: Google, Yahoo and MSN. Most other search engines use data from these three. People looking for information on your topic will most likely go to a search engine. If your site is listed on these search engines those people will find your website. You should also submit your site to SEO friendly directories. These directories contain listings of websites on all kind of subjects and are constantly crawled by the search engine robots. Most of the directories use humans for reviewing the websites who want to be listed to ensure high quality. Getting listed here will certainly boost your traffic and ranking!

    4. Submit your new website to social bookmarking sites. Better yet, submit not your homepage to the bookmarking sites, but your web pages with the most interesting and quality content. There are a lot of social bookmarking sites these days, and some of these sites have a high PR (Page Rank) and a lot of visitors looking for news and information. To make it easier for you there a sites like socialmarker.com, onlywire.com and addthis.com where you can bookmark your pages to a dozen or more sites with one click.

    5. Get some backlinks from sites that have a high PR. Most used method these days is article submission. This means that you write articles related to your topic and submit them to article directories. You can put your link in the resource box so people can click on it to visit your website. Submitting your articles to even a few high PR article directories can give you a lot of visitors.

If you follow the steps outlined in this article you will notice that increasing traffic to your website is not exactly rocket science. It requires some tedious and sometimes boring work and, if you have a lot of competition, a great portion of your time. If you can afford it you can outsource some of the work to a submission service.

You will definitely make that investment back in a very short period of time, when targeted traffic is flooding your new website and you are making a lot of money with your internet business!

    First, What is an Autoresponder?

An Autoresponder is an email system that allows you to tell it what emails to send out and when. Essentially it’s a Sequential, Automated Email system. You write the emails you want it to send out, tell it the timeframe to send each email out, then you get people to either send a blank email to your Autoresponders email address, complete a form on your website or click on a button that automatically sends your email address to the responder which starts the sequence.

An Autoresponder is basically your secretary. The nice thing is that it works for you 24-hours a day 7-days a week, 365 days a year. However, an Autoresponder is much more than a “stupid” email system. It can capture names, user locations, and other information, which can then be used in your responder to personalize emails to thousands of people.

Why should you use an Autoresponder?

There are many reasons WHY you should use an Autoresponder. let’s do a little brain storming session to come up with ways to use one.

You get a lot of email asking the same questions about your product or service. Setting up an Autoresponder “F.A.Q” to answer these questions while personalizing the message to each individual. You sell products or services on your website.

Your visitors aren’t converting into paying customers, Setup a FREE email course on a topic your market would be interested in and have a pop-up or form to capture their information. Every single visitor to your website can now be offered something or FREE. Turning you into the expert on the topic!

After someone buys your product/service you want to keep in contact with them. You want to let them know of updates, additions and changes to your product/services. Of course you want to offer them additional products related to their main purchase.

Since the 80/20 rule states that 80% of your sales come from 20% of your customers you should be offering them discounts on future purchases or other related products/services or you are losing money.

You are running a contest. Maybe you’re giving away gift certificates or a cash prize. Set up an Autoresponder to grab visitor’s information. Offer them deals and update them on new products. Tell them who won and what they won.

It’s a statistical fact that 50-80% of your sales will not come on the first visit to your website. These sales will come after the 5-7th contact with the visitor. If there’s no way to keep in touch with past visitors then you just lost them as potential customers.

The list can be endless, so I think you got idea :-)

    Who needs to use autoresponders?

    * Dentists can send out notice for dental cleanings
    * Theaters can provide show times and event schedules
    * Garages can send reminders for Oil Changes
    * Appliance services can send warranty service reminders
    * Churches can send choir practice reminders
    * Schools can send field trip reminders
    * Teachers can send PTA reminders Sending product updates
    * Online marketers can send training manuals and free ecourses

And many more …the list is endless!

If you have gotten this far you already know at least one reason you need an autoresponder. Autoresponders help you save time in many ways and can be used for many different occasions, from prospecting to sales, from reminders to FAQs.

How Open Ebook’s autoresponers is different from others?

Some Autoresponder services will get your attention and subscription by offering you free or cheap prices on their starter packages (like silver, gold and platinum versions), they will give you limited versions of autoresponders with every different package, but when your business grows and you will need more features you will have to upgrade to more expensive package and of course pay more.

Every parent knows that their child are copy-cats. In reality, they mimic so often, and so perfectly, that they are practically “copying machines”. They duplicate what you say, the way you utter it, and in what situations you say it. They imitate the manner by which you move about, how you behave, how you act in response to things, how you behave toward other people, and pretty much everything else you do.

But parents also understand that now and again, we plan to teach them one thing, and they learn something different. As an example, you’re trying to teach your children about gardening and how great it is to grow things, but they learn to run away when they notice a maggot or a spider, creating a new permanent fear (or plain “extreme repugnance”).

The difficulty is obviously that children learn at a phenomenal pace. They simply don’t predictably learn what you intend for them to learn. And it’s worse because at times you don’t know (or don’t even consider) what you need your child to learn.

But choosing what you intend your child to discover is not important when you’re sitting alongside your youngster trying to teach them something. Well, it is critical, but it’s clearly at the forefront of your mind. The important times are when you are not attempting to overtly teach your child something, but they are going to discover something nonetheless. It’s in these situations that you truly need to be tuned in to what your child is learning.

As an example, if you and your partner are in conflict about something, and one of you curses and stalks off rather than dealing with the arguement coherently and fairly, what will your child learn? Well, the primary thing they’ll become skilled at is a new word, one that you don’t care for them shouting in public! The second thing they’re likely to learn is: “when in a disagreement, stamp off rather than handling it.” Or something resembling that, anyhow.

So realising that your youngster is going to learn something in EACH AND EVERY situation they are in is essential. Deciding in advance what you’d prefer them to learn is something else. And that’s the reason why the most important empowering question for parents is: what do I want my child to learn from this?

If you can keep a question like this in your head as much as possible, and specifically where you are hugely emotional or reacting from custom, you’ll start to have a tremendous ability to influence your child even more than you do previously. You’ll be able to show them more of how you mean them to conduct themselves, in a manner that’s more like you on top form, as opposed to you at your worst. You’ll be able to congruently say “do what I do AND what I say”, without worrying so much about your language and actions being aligned. You’ll be able to tell your child as they grow up why you behave like you do, realising that they’ll already have had years of noticing you act according to your morals and standards.

But… you will only be a success in doing this if you have a critical way of thinking that parents need to possess, something that makes this empowering question helpful. Without help, the question is handy, but it’s not the only thing you need.

Read part 2 of this article to find out what that state of mind is…

It’s just not enough anymore to simply get a college or even a high school diploma, it seems. People demand some sort of Success Formula. In today’s competitive business world you need to get a master’s degree or even a PhD in order to make the money that you want to make and to get promoted to the positions you might want to fill.

But where can you find the motivation to take on this added educational goal? There are places like 21st century academy but could you possibly afford it? And while you can easily see the benefits to heading to graduate school, how can you keep up this motivation as the papers pile up and the reading lists grow?

    1. Stay focused on the day to day. When you look at your new schooling goals as something that’s going to take, for example, 3 years to come to fruition, that’s certainly going to be difficult to swallow. But if you simply look at your work in a monthly or even on a weekly basis of things to do, that’s far more palatable. Try think about what you need to achieve now, and the eventual goal will result.

    2. You can turn to a inspirational mentor, such as Kurek Ashley. While it can be costly, the time invested will benefit you in the long run.

    3. Recognize that your life will need to change. The big thing that older students or non-traditional students may not realize is that their life is going to have to change in order to accommodate this new goal. Instead of telling yourself that everything will stay the same, and then becoming disappointed when it doesn’t, realize that you will need to shift around your life, but that’s okay too.

    4. Make time for you. With a full time job and schooling, there is little time leftover for other things in your life. But you need to make time for fun too. When you forget to schedule in your own time, it can seem like you’re giving away all of your energy to others. Schedule at least one hour a week to do something that YOU want to do. It makes the other hours of the week a little easier.

    5. Take a night off. From time to time, let yourself have the night off or even the weekend off. Even though it might seem a little frivolous, your brain needs a break from time to time. Actually, your brain will probably work better if you let it relax on occasion.
